SOME OF OUR TRIPS
JIGGING WALLEYE ON THE
ST. CLAIR RIVER
We concentrate our fishing out of Sarnia on the beautiful St Clair River which is part of Bluewater land. We share the river with our American friends from Port Huron and surrounding area, so a Michigan Daily fishing licence could be required if the Walleye are over there. The spring Walleye fishery here has been on fire here for the last 3-4 years with lots of smaller fish in the system to support the fishery for years to come.
We jig for walleye off the bottom with 1 oz jigs with plastic bait and sometimes tip them with minnows when the water temp is 35-45*F in order to increase our catch. So its going to be a hands on fishing charter. With lots of fun and excitement. There will be a demonstration on how to do it properly before starting
(if required)
What We Do
Fish
We concentrate our fishing on walleye in the river on both sides of the border between Canada and the United States. We will also go into Lake Huron as well to catch our prized fish. Therefore I will contact you the day before on licensing requirements.
Boats
You will like all the scenery of the St Clair River. There is millions of tons of cargo that is transported up and down the river every year, you’ll see lake freighters, tugs, barges, and sail boats along the way.
